I made this beautiful memorial piece using the handwriting from a card my Dad gave me many years ago. I took his hand-writing and laser cut it out of birch wood and attached it to a piece of wood that I carefully cut and stained. It sits on a shelf in my living room and I find so much comfort in seeing his writing every day. I also love that since it's layered I can feel the words. It is definitely one of my favorite pieces.
